First Day of School!

Strutting her stuff with her Sponge Bob lunchbox and her Tinkerbell backpack.
She was happy and a little nervous!
I was nervous too and just tried to quit reminding her about every little thing. She kept saying, " MOM I know."

And off she went to get in line with her class and go inside to start her day.
Taliah would not let go of Savannah 's hand.
Taliah and I stood and watched with all the other moms as the kids went inside.
Taliah started crying as Savannah disappeared into the school and screamed at the top of her lungs, "I want my Savannah back."That didn't help me any of course and I welled up in tears. It is so hard to let them go. So much responsibility is on them and you just want them to be
ok and comfortable. I will be going to school each day after lunch and giving her her lunch tube feeding and medicine so i get to see her. I had to train the nurses and soon they may take over. But for now Savannah wants me to do it and I honestly prefer it that way because it is a big deal and I know all the quirks that can happen. I had
alot to tell them.
Needless to say she got home OK and had a great day. She told me that she took her spray bottle with a fan on it to recess and sat in the shade with some friends. She was a hit because everyone else wanted to get sprayed. It is sooo HOT! She loves her teacher and they take such good care of her and are so concerned about her health. I am so grateful.

Awwwww!!! That was so cute to read about! I especially liked Taliah crying for her sister, how sweet. Soon she will learn to love the time alone with you, huh?
That is one BIG backpack. hehe.
