We SOLD our house.....

It is amazing that it happened. Many might not even know that we had it for sale, but we did. We are actually swapping houses with a lady that came and saw ours a few months ago.
Here is what happened......
I came home from running around all day and found two women trying to get into my house. Hahaha!!!
The realtor didn't call my cell phone, she called the house so i did not know they were coming. Knowing that i had not cleaned up at all that morning i was thinking, "OH Great!!"
I let them in and just sat in the family room with the girls while they looked around listening to her rant and rave about how much she loved it. All the while i was getting so excited.
She proceeded to tell me she was recently a widow and had a 4 year old daughter that had leukemia. My heart went out to her. She told me this because she saw the pump in Savannah's room. She said she uses the same thing for her daughter. We then got talking for a while and she made a comment, "Lets trade houses". I heard it but it went over my head. We got along so well right away that we laughed and talked in the kitchen for a bit with her realtor. I thought for sure we had sold it........
We found out the next day she was just looking. She had to still put hers up for sale so i was bummed because she had to sell hers before she could even think of buying ours. Lost cause, right???
So, time went on and i kept thinking about her for 3 weeks. It was real weird. And the trading comment was popping in my head.
So, I had our realtor look up her home out of curiosity. It had been for sale for 26 days. Based on the pictures of it we wanted to go see it.
Needless to say we got there and loved it. I was not expecting that! Ben was half way through and was yelling, "This is it! We left and talked things over and asked our realtor to see if she wanted to entertain the idea if trading.
She wrapped her head around the idea and came and looked at ours again and called an hour later saying that she wanted it. She was so happy. She told me that since her husband had died she knows he watches over her and she said, "He lead us together". Its amazing how things work out. It feels right and we are so excited.
